Wedding Bells

Wow!! Another beautiful Autumn day today. I am sitting in our office with the sun pouring in and a gentle breeze coming through the window. 

Recently our youngest daughter was married. All the family were home and we had a wonderful time together celebrating the occasion. 

The groom arrived and departed with his new bride via helicopter.

The Cake: 1 layer was chocolate mud cake, another vanilla and the top was fruit cake made with currants. I made the Fruit Cake. It was made to the bride's taste and is now tucked away in their freezer to pull out on their 1st Anniversary. 

And last but not least:

The happy couple, all smiles, and what a beautiful couple they make.

Rest in Peace

Molly, our little dog, passed away during her sleep on Sunday night. The above picture was taken 10 years ago when she was a year old. She turned 11 in February this year and had not been herself for the last few months. 

It feels strange that she is gone. Another chapter of our lives closed. At this stage, I am not keen to get any more pets. 

This picture was taken when she sat for a second. It was always hard to get a good shot of her as she was always moving around too quickly. 

And, of course, she is eating here which made it easy to take a picture.

I'm Back

Hi Readers
I am back home as of today. We sailed in to Tasmania early and arrived home a few hours later. I will be posting again on Monday and getting back into routine.
