Pleasure

Hello and welcome back. Hubby and I have been to see a really good movie. We decided to get a roast dinner before we set off with hankies to watch it. It was funny, thought provoking and very emotional.  

It's a pleasure to get mail! This week I received a couple of yarn parcels. These colours are brand new to me and I still have not taken them out of the box. I have, however, been working every spare moment on the other bag of yarn making beautiful cowels. 

We have had plenty of rain as the ground is quite wet and most mornings we find a heavy dew. The last 5 days we have had the most pleasurable weather. I put clothes outside and they dry, we can get outside and enjoy the elements; eating, reading, coffees, polishing cars, gardening. It has been wonderful.

Usual Sunday afternoon coffees with cheese and crackers but set up outside. 

I have only seen orange ladybugs, but this one was just as pretty, and tiny. 

At the end of nice days you can expect a beautiful sunset and they have all been different and a pleasure to admire.

M ... is for

Hello. I have made a coffee and turned on my laptop to do the normal Tuesday morning tasks. Recently 'my garden' has been producing small tomatoes. I am collecting a supply and going to roast them to enjoy with meals. 

In the 'making department', I have been using up some yarn and this ball of yarn was one I hadn't used before. It is quite thick and knits up quickly but at the same time is very soft. I plan to source some more later and see what I can whip up (I only had the one ball to test).

Mash. This would have to be one of our favourite mixes to make up a meal. If I start with this and add a piece of meat, cheese or eggs it makes a complete meal. Sometimes we start with cauliflower and that is delicious mashed with pepper, cream cheese and butter. But, if you add a piece of sweet potato, pumpkin, carrot and green, it makes it even nicer. 

Meal. This is by far hubby's favourite meal when we go out. Chicken Phad Thai is full of flavour as well as hot and delicious.

Road Trip

Hi and welcome back. Recently we ventured out on a 'local' road trip. We went bush with a snack packed to have along with our coffee. It was a lovely day, no wind and very pleasant to say the least.

This was as close as we could get to Turbine Country. There were heaps of them spread out everywhere.

There is always something on my lap to play with along the way. 

This morning on my walk I came across a pile of large rocks on the bank. I am keen to see what they are going to do with them.
