It's nearly over, but we have had a wonderful and productive long weekend. Hubby and I have thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.
Saturday morning off to a bright early start.
Food planned for the next few days.
A new security light has been installed and a balustrade.
First thing this morning, he was out spraying blackberries and weeds while the wind was still.
While out for a drive we called by my parents grave.
Some sunshine colour in my vegie patch.
Weekend craft. Knitting some purses, crocheting a shrug and I prepared a block to applique a star for a friend who is leaving our patchwork group.
Hubby and I called down to D2's to do some little jobs for her and we were greeted with fresh mango icecream. It was delicious and very welcome.
The river is in and there are loads of tents down on the esplanade for the celebrations today. At twilight we should be able to open windows and enjoy the fireworks. They are always spectacular.
Dinner time, chicken drumsticks and mash...Dot
