Father's Day

Sunday September 2nd

This is where we stayed last night and our room was called 'Ruby'. When we left here..... our comfortable hire car, we drove through York. It was a shame we could not stay longer for a better look but there will be another time I am sure.

We called into Wave Rock to check it out. Having seen photos previously from family, we had to check it out ourselves. Amazing!!!

Out my window. Lots of canola to see, bright yellow ground cover for miles.

Hearts were getting exicited amongst the 3 of us as we neared the new abode of our family. As we drove up their beautiful drive we 'honked' the horn. No sooner had we stopped the car and our eldest grand daugther ran out the door to jump up and greet me with warm hugs and kisses. Hubby was overwhelmed to finally meet our youngest grand daughter for the first time.

Father's Day was made extra special with a lovely meal prepared for us of roast meat and vegies.
